Now, not only the efficiency is important for factories, but also sufficiency is required especially how to make it better and faster. Therefore, productive industrial tools and equipment are important to meet the need of each factory.
Blowers are one of tools that is popularly used in many industrial sectors because of its variety application.
What is blower?
Blower is a device, stated by JAPAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS (JSME), that the working equipment at a pressure greater than 1 meter to 10 meters of water is called a blower. Because blower is often misunderstood for a fan, so these two devices are separated with deep of meters of water or air pressure generated.
Blower is responsible for creating pressurized wind and blow it out with the desired speed and direction. If a device can create pressure deeper than 10 meters of water depth, it is called an air compressor.
Type of blowers
- Air Blower is basic type of blower that can produce air power from 10 to 250 liters / minute. It is divided into 2 types by the working principle:
- Double Diaphragm occupies the principle of electromagnetic and rubber diaphragm at both ends to produce wind which it can suck and blow air at the same time and can produce wind flow up to 200 liters/ minute.
- Rotary Vane applies a working principle of rotating rotor containing vanes to produce air. It can generate air up to maximum of 4200 liters / minute and have a lower speed than the Root Blower.
- Roots Blower is a structured blower using 2 rotors rotating toward each other. Rotor has many shapes which is called lobes. Roots blower does both suction and blowing air providing constant air volume and producing wind power from 400 to 20,000 liters/minute.
- Ring Blower is a type of blower that relies on the principle of rotating an impeller in a way that is centrifuged from the center.
